OpenCHAMI Community Birds of a Feather
DescriptionHPC centers are modernizing how they provision and operate clusters as systems become more heterogeneous, security-sensitive, and composable. OpenCHAMI, an HPSF emerging project, is an operator-led open-source control plane that brings cloud-like APIs and modular services to HPC system management. This BoF will help newcomers understand what OpenCHAMI enables today, give current users a forum to compare deployments and priorities, and invite operators, vendors, and developers to shape the roadmap. We will discuss adoption paths, including but not limited to xCAT transitions, and collect community feedback on tooling, integration, documentation, and operational requirements.
